Senior VFX Artist (Unity)

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Create and integrate effects of varying complexity—from basic to the most innovative and technologically advanced;

• Define the dynamics and visual style of VFX for the project, shaping its unique atmosphere;

• Work in Playrix’s proprietary effects editor and contribute to the development of internal team tools;

• Closely collaborate with other VFX artists, game designers, and developers to elevate the game’s visuals to a true wow level.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Experience creating 2D visual effects for mobile games (explosions, magic, weather effects, etc.);

• Deep understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, anticipation, etc.);

• Confident use of sprite sheets, flipbooks, and particle systems;

• Ability to optimize VFX for mobile platforms (performance, texture size, batching);

• Familiarity with tools for creating VFX in mobile game engines (Unity or equivalent);

• Practical knowledge of graphic optimization principles (textures, assets, etc.).

Essential Tools:

• Unity

• Adobe Photoshop

• GIT

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Spine

• Basic scripting skills in C# for gameplay effect integration

• Experience with VFX Graph

• Understanding UI animation basics
